NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A man broke into a Brooklyn auto repair shop on March 15 and made away with thousands of dollars and multiple New York State inspection stickers, police said.

Cops are searching for the suspect caught on camera around 1:30 a.m. inside of King Auto Repair at 3072 Cropsey Avenue while it was closed removing the cash and other items.
The burglar used tools to open a safe once inside and stole $25,000, 40 New York State inspection stickers and other miscellaneous items, authorities said.

The suspect then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
