NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A man dragged an 85-year-old woman off a Bronx elevator and stole her purse, police said Monday as they released disturbing video of the attack.

The victim was robbed around 3:10 p.m. Sunday at a residential building near East 149th Street and Morris Avenue in Mott Haven.
Video shows the thief dragging the woman off the elevator by her purse, causing her to fall into a wall and then onto the ground.
The victim suffered pain to her hip and was taken by EMS to Lincoln Hospital.
Surveillance images show the suspect in the elevator and on the street.
