NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A missing 12-year-old boy was reunited with his family Friday, two days after he didn’t show up at school and went on a multi-borough journey through the subway.

The NYPD confirmed Luis Osorio had been riding trains the past two days.
Video provided to 1010 WINS by a relative shows the boy being reunited with his family at Transit District 4 in Union Square.
Osorio’s mother, Dominique Benjamin, told 1010 WINS on Thursday that her son has mild autism and has a fascination with trains. He left his home Wednesday morning but never arrived at school.
“He ends up on the A train going to different places,” she said. He’d been using an app to communicate with fellow train enthusiasts at the time.
Police pinged the boy’s phone across the city Wednesday, including at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx and then in Brooklyn before his phone died in the afternoon. The phone trail ended in Park Slope around 2 p.m.
It wasn’t immediately clear exactly when or where he was found, but the video provided by family appeared to show him in good condition.
