NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 23-year-old woman was sexually assaulted inside a Brooklyn subway station last Thursday by a suspect who grabbed her from behind, threw her into a barrier and ripped her clothes while covering her mouth, police said.
At 7:10 a.m., the victim was walking down the stairwell toward the southbound Q train at the Prospect Park station when the man grabbed her from behind and threw her against the bars that separate the steps from the platform, according to police.
The man put his hand over the victim's mouth and began ripping her clothes and brushing against her breasts.
The victim was not physically injured during the incident, police said.
The suspect is around 6'0" tall, weighing 155 pounds, with a slim build, and was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, a yellow hooded sweatshirt and dark colored pants.
