Davis is accused of attacking a 43-year-old woman while she was on West 123 Street between Lenox Avenue and Adam Clayton Boulevard, punching her in the head from behind and knocking her to the ground, authorities said.

The attacker continued to physically assault her and kicked her repeatedly in the head and body, police said.

The victim was then dragged between two parked cars, while the suspect undressed her and attempted to rape her before fleeing the scene, officials said.

She sustained severe head trauma and was taken to Harlem Hospital in critical condition.

An investigation is ongoing.
