NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A 23-year-old woman was slashed by a man near Times Square early Saturday morning, police said.
The woman and the man, said to be in his 20s, got into a dispute at W. 47th Street and Eighth Avenue around 4:40 a.m.
The argument escalated and the man slashed the woman in the chest with a sharp object before fleeing, police said.
EMS responded to the scene, where they determined the victim’s injuries were minor. She refused medical attention.
Police said an investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been reported.
