Woman, 28, critically stabbed in neck outside dollar store in E. Harlem; no arrests: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 28-year-old woman was critically injured after she was stabbed in the neck outside a dollar store in East Harlem Thursday afternoon.

Authorities said the victim was stabbed around 3:15 p.m. near the D and Z Dollar Plus store on Madison Avenue and East 109th Street in East Harlem.

EMS transported the woman to St. Luke's Hospital in critical condition.

ABC 7 reports a dispute began inside the store than escalated onto the sidewalk outside.

It is unclear at this time what prompted the dispute, police said.

No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
