Woman, 61, stabbed in seemingly random Midtown attack

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 61-year-old woman was stabbed by a stranger in Midtown on Wednesday, according to police.

She was approached by a man who stabbed her twice in the shoulder on 57th Street near 7th Avenue around 3:40 p.m., officials said.

Emergency responders rushed her to Mount Sinai West in stable condition.

Police have not yet made any arrests.
