
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — The NYPD is searching for a man who allegedly sexually assaulted a 76-year-old woman and then pushed her to the ground causing injuries.

The incident happened on Thursday in the Mount Eden section of the Bronx. The victim was walking on Mount Eden Avenue around 7 p.m. when she was approached from behind by the suspect, police said.
The attacker then forcibly squeezed the victim’s breasts and buttocks, according to police. He then pushed her to the ground when she screamed and fled the scene.
The victim suffered lacerations to her head, left eye and hand from the attack. She was taken to Bronx Care Hospital where she was treated and released.
The suspect is described as having a dark complexion, about 20-years-old with brown eyes, thin build and brown braided hair. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants, a red hooded sweatshirt with white lettering on the front and sneakers.
