NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police have deemed the death of a 58-year-old woman found dead and bloody in the doorway of her Brooklyn apartment a homicide, authorities announced on Wednesday.
At about 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday Aug. 22, officers responded to a 911 call at an apartment located at 1625 Fulton Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
According to a city Medical Examiner autopsy, Latanya Parker was stabbed and slashed in her throat and chest. She also suffered a deep puncture wound to the waist.
So far there have been no arrests made and an investigation is ongoing.
