NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police on Tuesday released surveillance footage of a suspect wanted in a jewelry robbery at gunpoint in the Bronx earlier this month, authorities said.
It happened at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Wednesday, July 5, inside of the Tremont Hotel located at 750 East Tremont Ave. in Crotona, a 37-year-old woman was approached by the suspect in a hallway.
The suspect displayed a firearm and grabbed a chain from the victim's neck and a cellphone from her hands.
The suspect then discharged a firearm in the direction of a 33-year-old male victim before fleeing on foot southbound on Prospect Avenue, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
