Woman, 28, injured in drive-by shooting while walking with 2 young kids

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A woman with two young children was shot during a drive-by shooting in Queens on Friday night, authorities said.

The 28-year-old woman was pushing a 2-year-old in a stroller while a 5-year-old walked beside them, according to cops.

Around 6:45 p.m., the three were in front of 1502 Mott Avenue in Far Rockaway when the shooter fired off bullets from a black Acura MDX, police said.

The woman was hit twice in the back and once in the arm. A 44-year-old man also at the scene was struck in the left arm, officials said. They were taken to Jamaica Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Both children were uninjured.

No arrests have been made and the investigation remains ongoing.
