
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) -- Police are searching for the driver who struck a woman on a moped in a hit-and-run early Friday in Brooklyn, officials said.
It happened on Throop and Lexington avenues in Bedford-Stuyvesant at approximately 2:45 a.m., when a 34-year-old woman was riding a moped was struck by a car, authorities said.
The woman was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
Officials released no information on the suspect or vehicle description.
