NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A woman was pushed onto subway tracks in Manhattan after being robbed Wednesday.

Police said at about 11:30 a.m. on the southbound 7th Avenue B train platform in Midtown, a 31-year-old woman was robbed of her wallet.
According to cops, a man who was pushing a shopping cart displayed some sort of sharp object amid the robbery, and was later shoved off the platform.

The man fled the area. They are described as a man in his 40s who was wearing a blue jacket and a blue hat.
The woman is expected to be OK, police said.
