
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) - The NYPD is searching for a man who slammed a woman to the ground during a purse robbery on a Bronx street last week, authorities said Monday.
At approximately 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, a 63-year-old woman was walking near 5210 Broadway in Marble Hill when a white Honda Accord pulled up next to her, police said.
According to officials, the passenger got out of the vehicle, slammed her to the ground and forcibly took her purse.
The suspect then fled northbound on Broadway in the vehicle.
The purse contained the victim’s cellphone, credit card and debit cards and approximately $80.
The victim sustained minor injuries and was seen by EMS but did not require medical attention.
