VIDEO: Woman slashed in face inside Bronx subway station, suspect sought

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police released a video of a man accused of slashing a woman in the face during an argument inside a Bronx subway station last week, authorities said.

The incident happened at approximately 11 p.m. on Wednesday, March 30, inside the Fordham Road Station in the Fordham Heights section.

According to officials, a 45-year-old woman became involved in a verbal dispute with the suspect who produced a knife and slashed her in the face.

The unidentified man fled the subway system topside, authorities said.

The victim was transported in stable condition by EMS to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was treated for a laceration.

The video released by the NYPD shows the suspect inside of a bodega located at 221 East 188 Street after the incident.
