Woman slashed in head at Manhattan subway station in domestic dispute during a.m. rush

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 49-year-old woman was slashed in the head during a domestic dispute at a Lower Manhattan subway station on Tuesday morning, police said.

Cops said the victim was attacked by a man who was "known to her" at the 4/5 Fulton Street subway station at 9:19 a.m.

She suffered lacerations to her head and was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect fled the scene, according to police.

No arrests have been made and no additional details were made available at this time.
