NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A nine-year-old girl died Saturday after she was hit by a car in Queens Friday night, according to police.
A 46-year-old woman was driving a 2021 Ford Explorer eastbound on Newtown Road when she hit the child at the intersection of 46th Street, officials said.
Emergency responders rushed the girl to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst, where she was later pronounced dead.
