PARAMUS, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A 34-year-old Rutherford man was arrested Wednesday after he agreed to meet an undercover officer he believed to be a 14-year-old child for sex, the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office announced Friday.
Sean Dynan started communicating with members of the BCPO’s Cyber Crimes Unit in January 2023, according to officials.
He allegedly sent sexually explicit messages to the non-existent child and drove to Paramus to meet them. Instead of a minor, he was greeted by an undercover detective who arrested him.
He’s being held at Bergen County Jail pending his first court appearance.
