Police haven’t said what may have led to the fall.

Just months ago in December, 41-year-old hotel worker David Lerner plunged to his death from an upper floor of the same Hyatt Regency.

Lerner, of Holbrook, fell from a hotel window at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 4. Police and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration said at the time they were investigating the fatal fall.

Suffolk police asked anyone with information about Monday's fall to call Fourth Squad detectives at 631-854-8452.
