UNION CITY, N.J. (1010 WINS) — A Hudson County Sheriff’s officer was arrested Thursday on child pornography charges, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
William Medina, 35, was busted following a months-long investigation into child pornography stored on an online server.
Prosecutors charged him with possession of child sex abuse material.
The Hudson County Sheriff’s Office said Medina was suspended without pay following arrest, and promised to cooperate with the prosecutor’s case.
“These allegations are serious and certainly do not reflect the values of the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office,” said Hudson County Sheriff Frank Schillari.
