NJ woman wanted for pepper spray attack, robbery after road rage incident surrenders

NEW JERSEY (1010 WINS) — A New Jersey woman allegedly pepper sprayed and robbed another driver after a road rage incident Saturday has turned herself in, NJ Advance reported.

The incident occurred Saturday around 2 p.m. in the area of 14th Avenue and South 12th Street. The Irvington woman, 36-year-old Tiffany A. Patterson, pepper sprayed the other driver and stole her purse which had $400 in cash, AirPods and other items, according to Newark police.

Authorities later released a photo of Patterson in a security uniform and asked for the public’s help to find her.

Patterson is charged with robbery and two weapon offenses.
