GARFIELD, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run collision in New Jersey on Tuesday night, according to authorities.
According to police, the victim was struck just before 9 p.m. on Outwater Lane in Garfield by a driver who then continued driving.
Police did not release a description of the vehicle or the driver.
The victim’s name was withheld pending notification of relatives, Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office said.
An investigation is ongoing.
