
NEW HYDE PARK, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — A 69-year-old man has died at a Long Island hospital after he was struck by a car, police said Monday.
The victim, Ronald Moloney, was struck just after 8 p.m. Sunday on Hillside Avenue near North 4th Street in New Hyde Park, according to Nassau County police.
Moloney, of Queens Village, was hit by a 74-year-old man driving a 2016 Chrysler and suffered serious injuries.
The driver remained at the scene. It wasn't clear Tuesday if he would face charges.
An investigation is ongoing.
