Man arrested for fatally stabbing cousin, injuring cousin’s girlfriend on LI

BRENTWOOD, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- Suffolk County Police today arrested a 37-year-old man for fatally stabbing his cousin and injuring his cousin’s girlfriend, authorities said Friday.

At approximately 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 30, Wilson Felipe Andrade-Molina stabbed his cousin, Luis Miguel Andrade-Cando, , 38, at their place of employment, located at 400 Oser Avenue in Hauppauge, officials said.

Andrade-Molina then drove to 145 Charter Oaks Ave. in Brentwood and stabbed Andrade-Cando’s girlfriend, Santa Pena, 46, at approximately 8:05 a.m.

Police located Andrade-Molina on Gibson Street and Bay Avenue in Bay Shore at approximately 8:50 a.m. where he was placed in custody.

Andrade-Cando was pronounced dead at the scene.

Pena was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore where she was listed in critical but stable condition.

Andrade-Molina was charged with murder and assault and was held overnight before his arraignment in court.
