MANORHAVEN, N.Y. (1010 WINS) -- Officials arrested a man on Monday accused of hurling a brick through a glass door at a Long Island church over the weekend.
According to detectives, at 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, June 11, Kevin Guzman, 21, threw a brick through the glass door of the Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church located at 6 Cottonwood Rd. in Manorhaven.
Guzman fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Following an investigation, Guzman was located at his residence on Cambridge Avenue in Manorhaven at about 10:10a.m. and was placed under arrest without incident.
Guzman was charged with criminal mischief.
He will be arraigned on Tuesday.
