NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Andrew Cuomo released a TV and digital spot Monday appropriately titled "The Record," during which he recaps his accomplishments while serving as New York's governor -- and acknowledges that he's made "mistakes."

Among the accomplishments cited in the 30-second spot are marriage equality, $15 minimum wage, and gun safety and paid family leave laws. Cuomo, 64, released another spot, called "Politics vs. the Law," on Feb. 28.

"In politics, like in life, you stand on your record. Your results," Cuomo says in the spot, while photos from his tenure are shown. "As governor, every day I worked my hardest to deliver for you. New airports, trains, bridges, paid family leave. the strongest gun laws. And a $15 minimum wage. And we led this nation through the frightening COVID crisis.”
Cuomo concedes, "I haven’t been perfect. I've made mistakes. But I also made a difference. I've never stopped fighting for New Yorkers and I never will."
