NORTH BELLMORE, N.Y. (WBCS 880) -- Officials are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred late Thursday on Long Island, authorities said.
At around 11:40 p.m., police received multiple 911 calls regarding a domestic incident at a residence on S. Bismark Avenue in N. Bellmore, according to Detectives.

Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of a 42-year-old woman that had been repeatedly stabbed.
The woman was pronounced at the scene. Her identity was not released by officials.
An investigation is ongoing.
