FLORENCE, N.J. (WCBS 880) -- Police are investigating the "suspicious" death of a woman found inside her New Jersey home on Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The woman was found in her Birch Hollow Drive home in Florence Township.
Her identity or cause of death has not been released but a statement from the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office said it was "considered suspicious".
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
Investigators said there was “no reason for members of the general public to fear for their safety based upon this incident.”
