SPRING VALLEY, N.Y. (1010 WINS) — Police in Rockland County are investigating the early Friday shooting death of a 17-year-old boy.

Treynahel Cineus was found by Spring Valley police with a gunshot wound around 2:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Meadow Lane apartment complex at 150 W. Eckerson Road, authorities said.
Cops attempted life-saving medical attention, which was continued by medical personnel who arrived shortly thereafter.
Cineus was transported by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, where he died.
