The teen was struck in the chest by several bullets fired at him from the passenger-side of the passing vehicle, police said.

The victim’s Honda crashed into the back of another vehicle and then struck the center median before coming to a stop, according to police.

The teen managed to call 911. He was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.

No other injuries were reported.

No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting as police continue to investigate.
