PATERSON, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Police in New Jersey are investigating the death of an unidentified man shot in the head Thursday night, authorities said.
At approximately 9:45 p.m., officers were dispatched to the vicinity of North Main Street and Arch Street in Paterson on a report of shots fired.
Upon police discovered a man, who is currently unidentified, with a gunshot wound to the head.
He was later pronounced dead.
More information will be released when available, prosecutors said.
The investigation is active and ongoing.
