
EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- A 37-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly repeatedly stabbing her ex boyfriend’s new girlfriend at a New Jersey motel then trying to run her over with a car last week, authorities said.
Quadira Banks was charged with attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault and a weapons offense.
Just after 10 a.m. on July 4, the East Brunswick Police Department received a 911 call of a reporting stabbing at Studio 6 located on Route 18 in East Brunswick.
According to officials, Banks stabbed the woman in the face and body before she got in her own car and attempted to drive over the victim twice then fleeing the scene.
The victim was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in stable condition, officials said.
Banks was located at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital where she was arrested and taken to the Middlesex County jail.
