DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott posted a message on Instagram Monday night after he returned to the practice field for the first time since suffering a gruesome ankle injury in October that ended his season after just five weeks.

"Dear Adversity, Thank you for the Opportunity!" Prescott wrote.

Prescott was on the field Monday for the start of organized team activates at inside the Ford Center at The Star.

“I’m healthy,” Prescott told ESPN over the weekend. “If we had to play a game now, I could go out there and be very successful. Start the game, finish the game and not even worry about the leg.”

Those comments match up with what Prescott told the media when he signed his four-year, $160 million contract ... and reflective of before that, when sources on March 1 told Fish that Prescott's rehabilitation following ankle surgery could allow him to be "100 percent" by now and a "full participant" in upcoming offseason work.

Fish adds that Prescott will still need a "ramp-up" process during training camp in late-July. But Prescott back on the field at OTAs? It was expected and it's not a surprise.
