ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - Cowboys tight end Dalton Schultz has arguably been Dak Prescott's most reliable weapon this season, and it was no different on Sunday.
Schultz joined future Hall of Famer Jason Witten to became the second tight end in franchise history to have at least 70 catches in one season, according to the team's public relations' staff. Schultz entered the game with 69 catches and had five receptions in the first half to give him a total of 74 on the year.
Witten had at least 70 catches in nine of his 17 NFL seasons (16 with the Cowboys). Michael Irvin holds the record for most catches in a season by a Cowboy with 111 receptions, followed by Witten, who had 110 grabs in 2012.
