ARLINGTON (105.3 The Fan) - The Cowboys will have to go the rest of the way without one of their biggest offensive weapons, as wide receiver Michael Gallup suffered a torn ACL, owner Jerry Jones announced after his team lost 25-22 to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday at AT&T Stadium.

Gallup will undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm the team's fears.

With under two minutes to go in the first half, the Cowboys offense was being shut out. That was until Gallup came up with a huge grab in the the corner of the end zone to put the Cowboys on the board.

Gallup immediately grabbed his left knee and needed assistance from the Cowboys' training staff to help him walk off the field. He was quickly ruled out.

It's a tough blow for Gallup, who is preparing to enter free agency for the first time in his career this offseason. The 25-year-old has missed several games this season with a calf injury and had 32 receptions for 409 yards and one touchdown in eight games.
