DALLAS (105.3 The Fan) - The Dallas Mavericks went into the 2021 offseason looking to drastically improve their roster, with former Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry sitting as their main target.
Dallas however, would miss on Lowry, instead signing three and D wing Reggie Bullock, and rotational wing Sterling Brown to new deals, while also bringing back Tim Hardaway Jr. and Boban Marjanovic on team-friendly deals.
Dallas also brought in rotational big Moses Brown on a sign and trade, sending wing Josh Richardson back in exchange.
Nonetheless, Mavs owner Mark Cuban seems content with the team's moves thus far.

"We're happy," Cuban said. "I think we have improved our team considerably. I think if you watched how Slovenia played, and Luka's ability to find open shooters and play a team game, we've got a lot of that. I know Jason's excited, Nico's excited, we're all excited, and Luka as well, going forward."
On paper, Cuban is not necessarily wrong. Bullock and Brown are both drastic improvements in the realm of three-point shooting.
The trade of Josh Richardson by itself is also addition by subtraction, and Moses Brown is the type of elite rebounder and rim runner that the Mavs have wanted deploy in the past.
So are the Mavs done? It would appear so.
Barring a buyout or trade for Goran Dragic, or even less likely Lauri Markkanen, Dallas seems content with their offseason haul.
It is the potential addition of Dragic, however, that still has people talking.
Dragic is a perfect fit for the secondary ball handler roll that Dallas so desperately needs to fill, and his chemistry and relationship with Luka Doncic is well documented.
And if you ask, Doncic, that "chemistry" is exactly what the Mavs need.
“I know we made some great moves in free agency, but one of the most important things to win is chemistry," Doncic said. "I think that's what we need in Dallas.”
