MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES MEDICAL UPDATE PRESS RELEASE
Memphis, Tenn. – The Memphis Grizzlies today announced the following medical updates:
Zach Edey has been diagnosed with a stress reaction in his left ankle. He is expected to make a full recovery following a period of offloading and rehabilitation. Edey will be reevaluated in approximately four weeks, and further updates will be provided as appropriate.
John Konchar sustained a UCL tear in his left thumb during the Grizzlies’ most recent game on Dec. 7 vs. Portland and will undergo a procedure to repair the injury. He is expected to make a full recovery, and a timeline for his return will be provided following the procedure.
Javon Small is progressing well in his rehabilitation from a turf toe injury in his left foot. He is expected to return to play in 3-5 weeks, and further updates will be provided as appropriate.
