Falcons need someone besides Grady Jarrett to become elite

The Atlanta Falcons arguably only have one player who would currently be considered elite, DL Grady Jarrett.

While there was certainly a time that Matt Ryan was an elite QB, he is past his prime and even though he is still putting up strong seasons, he's no longer an elite player at that position.

In the meantime, the Falcons do have quite a few players who are bordering on elite and could take a jump into that group with a big season this year.

How far from elite is AJ Terrell? Or Calvin Ridley? Is Chris Lindstrom entering that discussion? Is Kyle Pitts ready to be a rookie sensation? Which LB might be set-up to join a special group?

There's no doubt that there are quite a few good players on the Falcons who are close to becoming great players, and the team is certainly going to need it if it wants to climb out of the NFC South cellar.
