New food and features as Pirates get ready to open PNC Park for 2024 season

The Pittsburgh Pirates gave a preview of what's new at PNC Park this season.

In just days, Bucs fans will see the team at PNC Park for the first time this season, but they'll also get a taste of the Renegade Dog a footlong hot dog, with pot roast, mini pierogis and pickle slices.

Pittsburgh’s Caliente Pizza & Drafthouse, returns to the lineup this year with pizza and now wings.

President Travis Williams introduced a partnership with Wigle Whiskey located in the Club Level.

Wigle reserve was recently launched and Williams says its one of the finest whiskies produced in the area.

The Pirates’ Clubhouse store has also expanded.

There are also new features that will help the players and staff.

Williams described the “trajekt” a new piece of equipment to help with player development.

“Any pitcher throughout Major League Baseball, we can replicate their motion, so their windup, we can replicate every pitch that they throw in their arsenal,” said Williams.

New female locker rooms have been added for staff and women umpires.

A massage room and a sleep room have been added, along with a mental health coach now available.
