With free agency less than a week away, Bud Dupree is likely going to sign for big money elsewhere.
We thought we’d take a few moments to recall some of our favorite memories of Bud.

There is no question that Dupree is one of the more popular players in the Steelers locker room. Players like T.J. Watt have said how Bud makes him want to be a better player and person.
Back a few years ago, Fan Morning Show co-host got a direct message from Dupree, one he didn’t expect.
“Ayo b***h, watch your mouth about me,” the message to Dunlap said.
Dunlap replied saying he had no idea what he Bud was talking about.
Dunlap said Bud replied with something to effect of “your b***h a** better watch behind the microphone talking all the ish.”
Colin replied and told him they haven’t talked about him on the show in a long time,” to which Dupree replied, “your name Andrew?”
Dunlap told him his name was Colin to which Bud replied, “my bad dawg.”
Dupree reiterated that he and Dunlap are cool, but Fillipponi better watch out if that’s the Andrew Bud was referring to.
Another classic Bud story goes back to 2017, when Dupree eviscerated James Harrison after he was cut by the Steelers and went to New England.
"It feels like he went to the Patriots just to spit in Coach Tomlin and Mr. Rooney's face," Dupree said. "That’s all it was to us. Like basically you spit on your teammates, you spit on us because the whole season you've been shown as someone different than what you were supposed to, so-called, be to us—other than a leader."
Dupree went on to say that Harrison cut himself from the team. “he didn’t want to do anything that made us better.”
Dupree took another shot at Harrison and is perceived laziness.
“If he tells the whole playbook, that's his fault. I didn't see him in meetings, so I don't know if he knows the plays or not."
There was also the time a fan criticized him on the field asking him where he was during plays.
Dupree told the fan he was sleeping with his woman.
While the defense with Dupree makes the Steelers that much better, they still have plenty of weapons to be a top-tier defense as long as they can stay healthy this year.
But there is no question Dupree will be missed in the locker room. He “Bud brought a Buddy” Steelers You Tube series, shows how much his teammates care about him and his going off on Harrison years ago shows how loyal he is to his teammates and coaches when he thinks they were wronged.
