PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) Fans of the Pittsburgh Steelers have been curious and concerned about a slew of tweets recently made by linebacker Devin Bush.
The past few weeks have been controversial for Bush and it seemed he finally got some sort of apprehension when he tweeted that he got “into trouble” because of his social media persona.
Despite all of the tweets and backlash, one thing that the public didn’t see, was a teammate or coach making a real attempt to have him stop.
Wednesday afternoon, however, that finally changed.
Steelers’ defensive end Cam Heyward responded to one of Bush’s recent tweets with “Calm your a** down.”
A perfect response from a team leader that many fans had been thinking.
The tweet that Heyward responded to was one that Bush said “Welcome to the mind of a psycho.”
It’s not exactly certain if the Steelers have had a discussion with Bush about his Twitter antics, but seeing a response like this from a leader is a breath of fresh air.
