It’s time for those Steelers fans hoping that the organization takes Pitt quarterback Kenny Pickett with the 20th pick in this year’s draft to give up the dream.

CBS NFL Insider Jason LaCanfora says that the Carolina Panthers have taken a “strong shine” to Pickett. They own the 6th pick.
That is if he makes it to six. LaCanfora says that “several evaluators said that they could see him going in the top five.”
Post-Gazette Steelers reporter Ray Fittipaldo tells The Fan Morning Show that any quarterback the Steelers may be interested in will likely be off the board by 20.
“I think Pickett and Malik Willis are probably the top-two senior prospects among quarterbacks in this draft and I think Matt Corral is going to be that third guy,” said Fittipaldo.
Fittipaldo thinks all three will be gone by the time the Steelers have a chance to pick.
“Do you really want a Sam Howell or a Carson Strong late first round? I don’t think that’s the route to go,” added Fittipaldo.
LaCanfora says that Pickett was impresses during the Senior Bowl and any concerns of his reportedly small hands.
Fittipaldo has the Steelers taking offensive tackle Trevor Penning of UNI in the first round.
