PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – With the sack on Deshaun Watson on a third-and-seven late in the second quarter, outside linebacker TJ Watt broke the Steelers all-time sack record.

Watt came around the Browns tackle and chased down Watson to keep Cleveland to the field goal. It was the 81.5 career sack, breaking a tie with outside linebacker James Harrison. Watt had a trio of sacks against San Francisco to tie Harris for the second.

It took Watt just 89 games to reach 81.5 sacks, for comparison

The 28-year-old linebacker was the NFL Defensive Player of the Year in 2021 with 22.5 sacks. Watt also led the NFL in sacks in 2020 with 15 in 15 games.
