In an ideal world, Ben Simmons is not a Sixer by the end of the NBA Draft on Thursday.
According to a recent report, the Sixers hope to part ways with their All-Star point guard during the NBA Draft, although their asking price has not changed.
This lines up similarly to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski on Wednesday that said Simmons and his agent Rich Paul of Klutch Sports are "in step" with a trade out of Philadelphia.
It looks like the relationship on both sides has run its course. The only remaining factor is the return the Sixers can get.
So far, the two reported trades leaked had major hauls returning to the Sixers.
First, they were reportedly seeking Kyle Lowry, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, and the 4th overall pick in Thursday’s draft from the Raptors.
Second, they wanted four first-round draft picks, three pick swaps, and a young player from the Spurs in exchange for Ben Simmons, according to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer.
