America has a serious problem: The restaurant industry is running out of supplies of chickens.
And for Texans, that means an ever bigger problem...Whataburger is running out of Honey Butter Chicken Biscuits.
According to WFAA, some chicken items "may be temporarily available," thanks to high customer demand and supply chain shortages, and anyone who vists Whataburger's website or app will notice a "chicken shortage" alert at the top.
The company said in a statement, "We’re sorry for the inconvenience this may cause some of our customers," the company went on to say in its statement. "We’re working closely with our suppliers and hope to serve our full chicken menu again soon."
