NFL Week 16 Parlay Picks: Saturday Slate

Top parlay plays for Texans vs. Chiefs and Steelers vs. Ravens, featuring teasers, same-game parlays, and sharp betting insights.

Get ready for an action-packed Saturday with two NFL games that offer plenty of parlay potential. From a teaser pairing the Texans and Ravens to a same-game parlay featuring the Steelers and Ravens, these matchups provide sharp betting opportunities for fans and bettors alike. With key injuries, weather factors, and historical trends at play, Saturday’s slate is ripe for strategic bets. Let’s break down the top plays!

Texans (9-5) +9.5 at Chiefs (13-1) & Ravens (9-5) ML vs. Steelers (10-4): -120, DraftKings

The one thing that I am concerned with here is the fact that this is likely going to be a very popular teaser on Saturday, and liability on it is likely to be high. You always have to take that into account. However, I still think it makes a ton of sense and will be worth a play on Saturday if you are into betting parlays.

Kansas City is going to be a very popular bet as always at home, but with Mahomes having injured himself in the last game, it is entirely possible that he isn’t going to be playing at 100%. That could be a serious problem for an offense that already hasn’t exactly been that good in 2024, and has struggled in many aspects that we are not used to seeing from an Andy Reid coached football team. We also know the Chiefs have been horrendous at covering spreads this season when the line is over a field goal in their favor.

I should note that I like the Steelers to cover a bit here at that +6.5 number that is available right now, but that doesn’t mean they are going to win the game. I’ll be clear in saying that I think Baltimore is a better team and the Steelers have really lucked out often this season, but these rivalry games are always very close. It is rare that either of them win by double-digits. The Ravens need this game if they want any hope of winning the division from Pittsburgh, and I think they show up and get the job done to make things interesting down the stretch.

SGP - Steelers +6.5 at Ravens & Under 45.5: +250, BetMGM

I also like this same game parlay quite a bit in the later Saturday game, taking the Steelers to cover and the game to be lower-scoring.

Pittsburgh has actually won eight of the last nine games in this rivalry, and every single one of those games ended within a touchdown. The Steelers have held the Ravens’ potent offense below 20 points in eight straight matchups entering this game as well, and the total has gone under in six straight games between these two teams.

Of course, there is always the Mike Tomlin as an underdog trend that everyone loves. He’s been unreal in his career after Week 5 against the AFC North, going 24-5-1 ATS (83%). Overall, he’s 50-21-1 ATS (70%) as an underdog after Week 5 in his career. Everyone knows this by now though, as it might be one of the most popular trends there is. He’s also 10-1 ATS (91%) off a loss of over a touchdown the previous week, which applies here.

In addition, Pittsburgh has also failed to reach 21+ points in eight straight games coming into this contest. There is supposed to be rain and wind possible, which would only help an under bet. I think getting +250 for this to be a low-scoring affair in which the underdog covers is some great value.
