And the BetQL staff has found the best bets across both of tonight’s matchups.
Dan Karpuc: Vikings WR Jordan Addison 100+ Receiving Yards & Bears WR DJ Moore 100+ Receiving Yards SGP (+1900, BetMGM)
As detailed in my MNF Player Prop article, both of these guys went off in the first meeting between these two teams (Addison: eight receptions for 162 yards and a TD, Moore: seven receptions for 106 yards and a TD). Coming off the best game of his career last week against the Falcons (eight catches, 133 yards, three TD’s), Addison’s confidence will be at an all-time high and given the double teams and attention that this Bears defense gave Justin Jefferson in the first matchup, Addison should personally benefit again. Meanwhile, Moore gets pretty much the best-possible matchup for a wide receiver. Opposing wide receivers have racked up the most receptions (14.9), 2nd-most targets (23.7) and most receiving yards (192.4) against the Vikings this season. At +1900, you can do a lot worse for an outcome that already happened this season. If you want to get really spicy, add in each of them to score a touchdown and get +4000 odds over at BetMGM! Remember, both guys had over 100 yards and a TD in that first meeting, so a 2.44% implied probability probably indicates a misprice.
Lucy Burdge: Vikings -7 vs. Bears (-105, BetMGM)
The Vikings are coming off of a 42-21 win over the Falcons and the Bears have lost their last seven games and have failed to cover in five of those last seven. At home this season, the Vikings are 5-2 ATS and 3-2 ATS as the home favorite. On the road, the Bears have failed to cover four of their last five. So I like the Vikings to cover this tonight.
Matt Horner: Bears at Vikings Under 44.5 (-118, FanDuel)
My Chicago Bears are in action tonight, and for that, I’d like to apologize to all of you that are planning on watching the incompetence that is George McCaskey’s mess of the midway. As per usual, it’s a prime time game and the under is always going to be the play. Right now, over at BetMGM, 91% of the money is on the over. That makes sense, as these two teams soared over when they played in Chicago, and the Vikings are coming off of a 40+ point game when the Bears allowed almost 40 last week. With everyone and their brother betting the over, somehow I feel like this one is going under. Also, Jordan Addison has 99% of the money on his over 52.5 receiving yards. Let’s see what happens there.
Kate Constable: Falcons QB Kirk Cousins Over 239.5 Passing Yards vs. Raiders (-115, BetMGM)
The Falcons are riding a four-game losing streak, and during that stretch, Kirk Cousins has really struggled, with zero passing touchdowns and eight interceptions. However, Cousins is better than what we’ve seen recently, and tonight’s matchup against a shaky Raiders defense is the perfect chance for him to bounce back. The Raiders are without their top pass rusher, Maxx Crosby, which is a huge loss for a defense that’s already allowed 240+ passing yards in six straight games. Cousins threw for 344 yards last week and has surpassed tonight’s yardage prop in three of his last four outings, so I like him to do it again tonight.
Ameer Tyree: Vikings TE TJ Hockenson 50+ Receiving Yards vs. Bears (+105, BetMGM)
Hockenson has been up-and-down since returning from injury but should have all the confidence in the world going up against a Bears team he posted seven catches for 114 yards against just a few weeks ago. Justin Jefferson will remain the priority for Chicago’s secondary, but Hockenson has reached at least 50 receiving yards in three straight meetings with the Bears. Chicago has given up more than 60 receiving yards to the opposition’s starting tight end three times in its previous five games, so this is a great spot for Hockenson to bounce back.
