Not only that, but Lamar Jackson has gone 0-5 ATS in games against Tomlin. But wait, it gets even better. Since 2015, the underdog in the series has gone 16-2-1 ATS and in the regular season when the line has been three or more points, the underdog has gone 23-4-3 ATS over the last 20 years. Tomlin has gone 13-2-2 ATS as an underdog vs. John Harbaugh in his career and backing the head coach as a dog has been a very profitable betting strategy in recent years. I’m firmly on Pittsburgh +6.5 on the road.
Lucy Burdge: Lions -6.5 vs. Bears (-110, BetMGM)
The Bears have lost their last eight games and they have failed to cover in their last two games and in five of their last eight. And the Lions are 5-1 ATS on the road and 9-4-1 ATS overall this year and they are 15-5 ATS in their last 20 games vs. NFC North opponents. So I like the Lions to cover this spread against the Bears.
Matt Horner: Jets +3 vs. Rams (-110, BetMGM)
I’m ready for Aaron Rodgers to hurt me again. It seems like I bet the Jets weekly at this point with how much everyone hates them, and for good reason to be fair. However, the Rams will be extremely popular in this game with the recent run they have been on. The Jets struggled to beat a terrible Jaguars team last week, but they did manage to win. Still, absolutely no one will want a piece of the Jets. Over 70% of money and tickets are backing Los Angeles. Yet, the line has moved from +3.5 to +3 everywhere from respected sharp money on New York. I already bet them at +3.5, but the +3 is still valuable, risking a push though. It would be pretty hilarious if they won outright, but I wouldn’t be shocked either.
