Tool is back on the road and setting high expectations with their first performance before their upcoming album. With new music in the bank and their first album in just over 13 years on the way, the band just previewed their highly-anticipated songs at a headlining set during Jacksonville, FL’s Welcome to Rockville festival.
A stacked schedule has Tool set to play headlining shows and a collection of festivals before an expected album release in June or July. At their May 5 set at Rockville, the band live debuted two new tracks and treated fans to a surprise look into what’s to come.
“Descending” and “Invincible” are the two brooding new songs that perfectly match the nostalgic Tool style everyone has been waiting for more of. Fans have pointed out that “Invincible” is a collection of leaked songs, alternate versions, and previous riffs that have now been turned into an actual track.
